In addition to comply to the safety standard, the mechanical properties of the DEPREUX belts are designed to achieve the maximum operating life and optimum installation cost.

Maximum life expectancy
Life expectancy is extended with our strongly woven carcass in the warp and weft direction protected by an interwoven cotton surface impregnated with specially formulated PVC to achieve high adhesion between cover and carcass. DEPREUX have specially formulated covers to provide our clients with high impact, cut and abrasion resistance.

Minimum operation and installation cost
DEPREUX belts are made to have optimum elongation and plyability to ease the belt installation and start-up

Extensive tests, both static and dynamic, have been undertaken to ensure a minimum 50% to 90%, for a mechanical fastener, or 60% to 90% for a vulcanized joint, of the specified tensile strength.

In order to satisfy the different client requirements, five textile belt constructions are offered:

Composed of several plies of EP fabrics separated by fire-resistant rubber interlayer and covered with fire-resistant chloroprene rubber covers

Composed of PVC impregnated solid-woven carcass with PVC covers

Composed of PVC impregnated solid-woven carcass with nitrile cover cover on the carrying side and a PVC cover on the underside

Composed of PVC impregnated solid-woven carcass with nitrile covers both sides
